英文简介(来自 AniList)
Black Biscuits was a co-ed J-pop group active from 1997-1999. They were the official rival group to Pocket Biscuits. All members participated under stage names created for the group. The group was formed as a villain-like group who hated the Pocket Biscuits on the television program Unchan Nanchan no Urinari!! After the group was met with poor reviews from the fans, they decided to change into a "rival" like stance instead of sabotaging Pocket Biscuits. After Pocket Biscuits became popular as a musical act, they made their debut as a rival music group that took a more dance-music oriented approach. An agreement was made to break up the group permanently if they could not surpass Pocket Biscuits in music sales, so they were expected to disband quickly. However, the group's first single sold remarkably well and began to rapidly outsell Pocket Biscuits, so the group stayed active. Their second single TIMING was the #4 best-selling song of 1998, and currently sits at #88 on the best-selling Japanese singles in history according to Oricon. However, they were unable to surpass Pocket Biscuits in sales with their third single, so they released one more single and album in 1999 and disbanded. However, the founding members have reunited three times for reunion appearances and performances in 2002, 2022, and 2023. Former Members: Vivian Hsu (1997-1999) Nanbara Kiyotaka (1997-1999) Amano Hiroyuki (1997-1999) Ding Kaidi (1999)
