E-girls

Website E-girls was a J-pop dance and vocal group under the talent agency Japan. It was formed in 2011 as a supergroup consisting of the 3 girl groups of the agency at the time — Dream, Happiness and Flower. They debuted in December of the same year with the goal of bringing recognition and popularity to the main groups. The members of the non-debuted group "bunny" and some performers (dancers) from their dance academy EXPG were also added to the group later. With the release of their iconic 3rd single "Follow Me", they went on to become one of the well-known girl groups of Japan. They also formed 2 new sub-units — ShuuKaRen and Sudannayuzuyully. It was announced in 2017 that Dream would disband and they'd no longer be a part of E-girls. Additionally, some members of Happiness and Flower also decided to leave in order to focus more on their original groups and other solo activities. E-girls then became just a regular girl group from the umbrella group. They continued their activity with the remaining 11 members. The group announced on December 2019 that the members held discussions and decided on following their own individual paths, leading to the disbandment of the group a year later on 30th December 2020.
